This is my first real peice using adobe illustrator. I have always been into politics, and like 49% of the people in this country I wanted Bush out of office. September 11th did affect me, I had a friend who lost her father. She feels the same way as I do about Bush. I hate the fact that he took us to war in a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, but insisted it did. I hate the fact that Bush says they attacked us was because they hated our freedom. Is he kidding?? Could it be maybe because of our mid-east policies? Or the sanctions we have put on? They arent the ones that hate our freedom. Pretty soon, a womans right to choose will be taken away, certain people dont have the freedom to marry who they want, under the Patriot Act we are being tracked by our own government. Now who really hates our freedom? Who is trying to take it away? Thats what i tried to illustrate in this peice. comments appreciated.

Wow !
Powerful image of a nation. The way the tower are drawn and the color make this poster really touching. Your text is amazing strong. I wonder sometime too if USA is going to his own destruction. Wish it could be helped Just one question though, is the border of the poster made out of buildings ? -- Don't try to hide .... J. know where you are ... to answer your question, i had gotten the idea of the dark gray background from a sculpture i did back in high school. it had abstract looking buildings and i used the same idea for this peice
